Concessions Information & Volunteer Overview (Fall)

We are gearing up for a fantastic fall sports season and need your help to keep our concession stands running smoothly! Below is an overview of how concessions operate for Volleyball and Football.

• Schedule: Concessions open 30 minutes prior to game time (around 4:30 PM for a 5:00 PM start), which coincides with our hot pizza delivery.
• End Time: Varsity plays best 3 out of 5 sets. Volunteers should be prepared for game completion times to vary.
• General Duties: Food preparation (hot dogs, nachos, popcorn), cashiering/cashbox management, stand cleanup, cooler restocking, and end-of-night cash counting.
• Middle School volleyball plays at Wilson Middle (no concessions). 

Games average approximately 3 hours. Volunteers sign up for one of two overlapping shifts to ensure coverage:

• Shift 1: Game start through the end of halftime.
• Shift 2: Start of halftime through post-game cleanup.

Note: We are actively seeking dedicated season-long grill masters for JV and Varsity games. If interested, please contact the coaching staff.

• Arrival: 1 hour prior to kickoff for prep before gates open.
• Kitchen Staff (3): 1 Fryer, 1 Griller, and 1 Floating Assistant (assists with food packaging and plating during peak surges).
• Cashiers (2): Moneybox management.
• Runners (3–4): Order fulfillment and counter support.

• Arrival & Prep: Grill setup begins at 4:45 PM to ensure full service as soon as ticket gates open.
• Kitchen Staff (4): 2 Grillers, 2 Fryers.
• Cashiers (4): Moneybox management.
• Runners (6–8): Order fulfillment, restocking coolers, and keeping hot chocolate, nacho cheese, and condiments filled.
• Popcorn Operator (1): Dedicated popcorn station management.
